A Day at the Beach

We spent a day at the beach while we were in California. The weather always seems to be terrible every time we visit Cali and go to the beach! This was no different. Really windy, overcast, and not very warm. My mom wrapped herself up in a blanket half the time. But thankfully kids don't seem to mind. And more importantly, thankfully I have a wonderful husband who doesn't mind because there is NOOOO way I was getting in the water with the kids!

*On a side note...this happened to be the day that Michael Jackson died. It took us about 40 minutes to get to the beach. It took well over 2 HOURS to get home due to normal afternoon traffic but also swarms of fans/people trying to get to the hospital! Note to self...NEVER be driving near LA when a celebrity dies!!!
