After the egg hunt in the morning all the kids had a little down time and then once the babies were napping it was time to color the eggs. Grandma cooked up 67 eggs, so there was enough for each kid to color 11! Thanks Grandma!
Mia working on a 2 colored egg. She was so excited when she discovered this could be done! (she probably saw one of her cousins doing this!)
Summer, Austin, and Jessica. What cuties! We sure did love spending the weekend with them.
Gavin and Mia…love that my kids can NOT take their eyes off what they are doing for 2 seconds for me to snap a picture :)
The whole crew – I just love Jessica waiting and staring at the egg she was coloring at the time :)![]()
And the finished products…Gavin
And would you believe we only had 2 mishaps with 6 kids??? The first was before we even started. Mia was helping me take the cups of dye over to the table. She was carrying the pink and was just a few steps away from the table when Gavin came around the corner. Collision. And pink dye everywhere. All over Gavin’s WHITE shirt, the chair, the floor, but surprisingly not much on Mia (though her crying would probably lead you to believe otherwise). Ah well. A quick clean up and we were on our way. And then while actually coloring the eggs, we just had 1 spilled cup. I would count that as a success!
