Santorini

On Friday morning we arrived in Santorini.  We took a tender boat in (there’s our ship, way out there) and then at the bottom of this BIG hill, you could walk the zig zag path (you can see steps in the bottom left of this picture), ride a donkey up the same trail, or take a cable car up.  I took the cable car.  Jared walked it. (and was one of the few to do it – from the entire cruise ship!)

We wandered a bit at the top of hill, then from Thira (city pictured above) caught a bus

And ended at the city of Oia…and what a beautiful place to explore!

Just loved, loved, LOVED all the white buildings and blue domes, doors, windows and shutters!

We spent the entire time just wandering around this picturesque city.

It was a little bit windy that day…

When it was time to leave the island, we opted to walk down the path…with all the donkeys!
