Boating

Last Saturday we went out on the boat with our friends, the Hoyals. We got to the dock at 5:30, which is apparently the MOST popular time to go! We had to wait in line just to get in to the parking lot, and then we waited forEVER to launch the boat. I guess we hit the time when the people from the day we pulling out, and those heading out for the evening were launching. I was a little stressed b/c I get really nervous launching the boat when it's crowded! Oh well! It ended up just fine and we all had a great time...

And Gavin got to get pulled on the tube for the first time! Jared was a good sport and went with him (I really am not a big fan of the tube!)

Gavin had a great time out there as well and could have stayed out there all night!

(And yes, Gavin is wearing a pink life jacket! We had to borrow and do some swapping around to make sure all the kids had one! He's tough though...he can pull it off!)

The water finally calmed a little and I was able to get out on the wakeboard, which was super fun of course. But the highlight, before that, was Dave getting up on the wakeboard for his first time (first time trying too, I think?). He was very entertaining because he just laughed the entire time. He did great though!

We love spending time as a family on the boat and it's even more enjoyable when good friends get to come with us! Thanks Hoyals for coming!
