Santa Claus

Thank goodness for church parties or my kids might not get to see Santa every year :) Sure, the Santa may not be as cute, and the background may be a little on the ghetto side, but the line is bearable and there's a husband there to help. Plus, I really like to avoid the mall altogether at Christmas-time!

Anyway, both kids were excited and there was no crying involved! Once it was finally his turn, Gavin wasn't so sure...but hey, he got candy - so this guy can't be too bad, right?! And can someone please tell me WHY the 2 year old is looking right at the camera and Santa is looking where?! And this little cutie couldn't wait to get up to Santa. While in line she maneuvered her way to the front where some friends were and although she knew she had to wait until the kids in front of Gavin and I had their turn, with each passing kid she would creep closer and closer. I loved it! I love that she is at such a fun age when it comes to Christmas right now. It really makes the holiday that much more magical.

So what did she ask Santa to bring her? A yo-yo. What in the world? Where did that come from?! Thankfully, since Christmas has come and gone now, I can happily report that Santa did indeed deliver!
