Birthday Fun

When you have a baby 2 weeks before your birthday, not a whole lot ends up happening on your birthday. But it was still a fun day and weekend. Thursday started with an early appointment for Tessa. I somehow made it out the door and to her appointment by 9 am. Good news is she is doing great and even with how much she was throwing up is gaining weight.

Then I met Jared for lunch at The Pizza Factory for one of my favorite salad bars and a breadtwist. YUM. Oh, and kid-free thanks to my mom :)

Then we got to hang out with Jodi and Dennis and their kids on Friday afternoon. They had been in Salt Lake and then headed down to Lehi to go swimming at the Legacy Center. All the kids had such a great time. Gavin is finally able to keep himself upright and "swim" in his life jacket. Yeah Gavin! After everyone wore themselves out we all headed back to our place for pizza and cake and ice cream.

Grandma and Gavin (or Grappa....as Gavin calls her) He is going to be one sad little boy when she leaves. He has developed a strong preference for Grandma's help.

Then it was time for cake and ice cream. We got to celebrate two birthdays. Mine was April 8th and my nephew Spencer's was April 10th. My mom arranged the candles in 2 rows. A pink row for me to blow out and blue row for Spencer. Zach, Mia, Spencer and PeytonAfter we had stuffed ourselves we all got on the computer to Skype with Grandpa. The kids LOVED it and were all trying to get in front of the camera the entire time.Then it was time to say goodbye to our cousins. Olivia was so cute picking up Mia every time she gave her a hug - and there were a lot of hugs. What a strong little girl!

Thanks for coming down to play with us Sickler family. We had so much fun!
