Jared's Birthday

Last week (the 18th) was Jared's birthday and since he's so busy, we squeezed in celebrations when we could and over multiple days.

On Monday we planned to plant our garden at the stake center, head to the park to play and have treats and open presents. BUT, as soon as we made it to the garden a strong micro-burst came through and there was nothing we could do and the park was definitely out of the question. So we did some shopping at Home Depot (always exciting) and then came home so Jared could open his presents.

He had lots of help from Mia and Gavin Jared and his munkinsJared's mom made him 2 pans of flan for his birthday. He had a hard time sharing, but since I don't LOVE it like he does, it was ok :)

For Jared's birthday on Tuesday, we went to Tucanos for lunch with the whole family. No pictures because we were waaaay too busy stuffing ourselves :)

Jared got home on Tuesday night, just after I had put the kids "down" for the night, so we pulled them out and all enjoyed some delicious lemon cake!
