Richards Family Dinner

A little bit back (July 26th) there were some "extra" Richards in town so we had a family dinner. Dan & Melissa were gracious enough to let us all come over and party at their place. The night started with the guys putting together a new grill...kind of important if you are going to have a BBQ!The kids were entertained with crafts that Nicole provided. Each kid made a wand...And the girls made cute headbands. The grill did finally get put together and we enjoyed an awesome dinner! Then it was time for the games to begin! All the "younger" cousins ready to go.
Gavin, Maddie, Liesel, Powell (being held) Summer, Hannah, Mia & Jessica.Digging through sawdust for prizes. The kids all loved this! Then the adults played a bunch of Minute-to-Win-it games. We love to watch the show, but it was confirmed...I wouldn't get very far on the show!
We had a great time and cracked ourselves up. This may just be my favorite picture of the night :)Some sibling teamwork...And a little (or a lot) of sibling competetion!
Jared and Dan were trying to keep their feathers in the air. While the adults played, the kids watched a movie, and some of them did their own Minute-to-Win-it games.
My adorable niece, Summer...such a great picture! And there were LOTS of glow sticks for the kids.It was a fun and really late night! Towards the end of the night Summer was found upstairs, out cold on the couch.Gavin made it about 1 minute into our drive before he was out!

That sounds so fun! Might have to take some of the fun ideas. What a way to spend an evening.

Wow!! That is a serious party!!! My girlfriends and I were just talking about having a huge date-night with min-to-win-it involved. Looks fun!

I love that Gavin is holding on to his wand in the car, asleep.
