Tonight I was clipping Mia's fingernails while we were watching a show. Mia had earlier placed all her ducks out on the floor and Tessa started moving towards them (she's got the army crawl down now!).
Mia: Mom! Tessa's going to get my ducks!
Me: It's OK...you can share one of your ducks right now. And Tessa isn't going to hurt it anyway.
Mia: Well...(thinking a bit) Mom, my duck is allergic to babies. All my ducks are allergic to babies.
Where does she come up with this stuff?!

hilarious. when i read the title I thought, "Oh No! Who has an allergy to what?" But I'm glad it's just Mia's ducks to babies.
