This was Mia’s first year of soccer. She was pretty indifferent about the whole thing. She didn’t love it, but she didn’t ever complain about practices or games (except for a few of the first when it was really cold!)

She wasn’t the most aggressive, or the fastest (she was 1 of just 2 girls on her team), but she tried
And of course, she was always happy (and able to quickly forget that they had lost – which was the case most games) at the end when they got a treat. Here she is with her friend Elli.
