Christmas Eve was low key during the day, and crazy by night time (isn’t that how it always is?!). My mom and I did some last minute shopping for Christmas and Christmas dinner, the kids played, we watched movies, we tried to get a jump on the present wrapping…ya know, typical Christmas Eve stuff. The one big difference was we decided to wait to do our traditional beef fondue dinner until Christmas, so Jodi and her family would be there too. So Julie made us an amazing dinner with EASY and DELICIOUS (my kind of recipe!) crockpot french dip sandwiches. Oh…they were soooo good!
Both Mia and Camden had some reindeer food for us to spread out on the back lawn, so right after dinner the kids went out and made sure Santa and his reindeer wouldn’t pass us by!![]()
Camden sharing his with Gavin. Aww, cute!![]()
Mia insisted on actually going down on the lawn to spread hers out.![]()
I love Camden getting up on his tippy toes to get it over the railing.![]()
Got to get every last bit on the lawn :)![]()
Some more Christmas Eve randomness…

It looks like so much fun! Did everyone stay at your house too? You need to post all "easy and delicious" recipes (and any crockpot ones too) to help the rest of us out! Happy New Year!
