Welcome Home Little One

We were able to come home on Saturday. Tessa didn't even flinch when I put her in the car seat. And she is so little that even with the straps on the car seat pulled as tight as possible, there was still a lot of extra space there. I came home to an empty and CLEAN house (thanks to my fabulous hubby). Jared went to get the kids from Dan and Melissa, who live about 25 minutes away. My sweet and super kind and absolutely AWESOME SIL watched the kids the entire time I was in the hospital and it was such a blessing to know that my kids were well taken care of and super loved while we were away. In fact, when Mia came to the hospital, she was concerned about going back to her cousin, Jessica's house. I was just thinking today about the fact that I didn't even worry ONCE about my kiddos while I was in the hospital. I worried about my SIL's sanity a few times (she had 6 kids and I found out her hubby was out of town!!!), but I knew my kids were having a blast!
Where was I...oh yes, coming home. So while Jared went to get the kids Tessa and I had the QUIET house all to ourselves for about and hour. Then the kids made it home and were more than excited to greet their new sister! It sure is nice to be home!

She is so beautiful! I love the last picture with all three of the kids. Mia's bangs are adorable.

I love the picture with all 3! Very cute. And wow--who needs Mom when you've got Jared?? Does he cook and do laundry, too?? Feel free to tell Mom she can change her plane ticket to LAX...
