Tessa’s 1st Birthday

Mia made this all on her own for her little sister’s “party”.  She was so excited and I love it!

We all helped Tessa open some presents.

Maybe even fought a little over who’s turn it was to “help”.Cracks me up how hard Gavin is pulling on that ribbon, and Tessa just wants OUT!

By the 3rd kid, I’ve wizened up a little and only bought one new present…the rest were all “resurrected” from the crawl space :)

Then it was time for cake.  We skyped with my parents while Tessa ate her cupcake, but had to wait a few minutes for them.  Mia & Gavin started getting restless so we cut into the big cake first.

Tessa was eyeing that cupcake.  She started getting restless too…so while we waited, we gave her a few tastes of the other cake!

Our camera also acts as our video camera, so these pictures were after the initial “plunge” into the cupcake.  She was ALL business though.  So much, that we couldn’t even get a smile out of her!

She grabbed that cupcake with 2 hands and put it right into her mouth!  And went to town!
