The whole family headed down to cheer on Jared at the marathon. We first went to cheer him at mile 17. I didn’t get a picture of his cheering section, but it included me and the kids, Jared’s parents and our friend/neighbor Jenny, who’s husband was also running. We were able to see Jared, Woodson, and just as we were rushing off (to make it to the finish line in time) we saw Jared’s brother Dan go by.

He was looking really strong here and came over to give the kids a high 5! Go, Jared go!

His official time was 3:21:34

Jared didn’t get the time he wanted, but still did a great job and now he can finally rest his injured achilles tendon! Way to go Jared!
